Air Jordan XX9 “Oreo”

The Air Jordan XX9 makes its way back to stores next weekend with the release of the “Oreo” colorway Saturday, October 25th, 2014. Most notably seen on the feet of Brooklyn Nets Joe Johnson during NBA pre-season play, the monochromatic black and white style takes elephant print to new heights by way of the latest performance technology and Tinker Hatfield design cues. Following its predecessor in black and gym red tones, the “Oreo” is much bolder in a sense that it features a more sartorially pleasing aesthetic, where wears will likely be just as high off court as they are on it. That said, are those early stances that leveraged the enlarged Jumpman XX9′s over the elephant printed pairs beginning to fade? Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk” Releases This Saturday

After long wait, the Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk” finally makes it way to stores this Saturday, October 25th, 2014. Of course paying tribute to the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs, and their cities largest tourist attraction, the release acts as the third Air Jordan XX9 colorway to see a general release. While players like Russell Westbrook and Joe Johnson have been seen in PE pairs over the past few months, the “Riverwalk” schemes offers a bold new fusion pink scheme with an enlarged white Jumpman on the lateral side. To finish, a black midsole rest slightly atop an icy translucent outer. Of course among the last colorways of Air Jordan’s designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, will you be picking up a pair this weekend? Let us know after the break.

Air Jordan 1 Low – Cool Grey/Fusion Pink/Space Blue

The Air Jordan 1 Low is going to be a featured player in Jordan Brand’s 2015 retro slate, as the silhouette will return to nostalgic glory with a number of OG looks that feature that coveted Nike Air branding on the tongue. In the meantime, the shoe seems content playing around with new colorways. The latest dons a Cool Grey and Black base while Fusion Pink and Space Blue come together in accents in a rather subdued look for such vibrant hues. The last time we saw each come together is on the Riverwalk pairs referencing the 1996 San Antonio All-Star Game.

Air Jordan 6 GS “Seahawks”

We’re getting a brand new Air Jordan 6 this weekend, but this time around the pair will be exclusive to the kids and ladies. In a year that’s seen plenty of old school renditions of the shoe that Mike wore during his first championship run, we’ve gotten an equal amount of eye-catching aesthetics new to the silhouette, and this “Seahawks” variety has etched out its place among them. The pair skips over the usual vibrant base seen on GS exclusives for a clean white, while Deep Royal and Fierce Green tie into the unofficial Seattle theme.

Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk”

We’re only a few days away from another Air Jordan XX9 release, as this “Riverwalk” pair will be arriving at retailers this Saturday, October 11th. When looking at the upcoming Jordan release slate, there are a number of pairs referencing the 1996 NBA All-Star Game in San Antonio, an event that saw Mike break out the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” on court. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise or a coincidence that alongside that patent leather gem’s Holiday 2014 release date, Jordan Brand is doling out a number of other San Antonio themed sneakers. The Air Jordan 29 features that gradient digital elephant print as fusion pink and tropical teal work together to match the Spurs colorful home court back in the 90s. Air Jordan 1 Mid “Melo”

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Melo”, a sneaker whose existence was first hinted at over the weekend. The pair stays away from a straightforward New York Knicks colorway, and instead features a black and burnt gold mixture on the upper, along with a “Melo” tongue tag. Word has it that this isn’t the only pair of this sort out there – Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and Russell Westbrook all have their own on the way too.

Air Jordan 13 GS “Reflective”

There have been certain Air Jordan 13 releases over the years that have earned some complaints due to their lack of reflective materials embedded in the upper’s dimpled panel. It’s safe to say that the upcoming Air Jordan 13 “Reflective” won’t have to worry about that, as the entirety of that panel, as well as the toebox, has the 3M look going on. They’ll of course be available in GS sizes when they show up on October 4th, and we’ve got a preview of that smaller build for you right here.

Air Jordan 5 “White/Metallic”

Could the Air Jordan 5 “White/Metallic” be included in the remastered Air Jordan retros that are coming in 2015? At this point, rumors are flying about the possible return of that colorway. It’s certainly within the realm of possibility seeing as how other Retro+ creations like the “Oreo” Jordan 4 and the “French Blue” Jordan 7 have been confirmed for next year. Air Jordan 1 Mid “Tropical Teal”

How much more successful would the Air Jordan 1 Mid be if it featured that premium Nike Air branding on the tongue that we all covet from the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG? One thing’s for sure, the mid-top variation of the Air Jordan 1 is the most experimental in terms of colorways when compared to other takedowns of Mike’s first signature. Today that tradition continues as a Tropical Teal clashes with an Infrared 23 accent throughout. Usually when cotton candy-esque colors arrive on a Jumpman it means that the release will be delegated to strictly the kids and ladies.

Air Jordan 3 “Bape x Ice Cream”

The lab of JBF Customs is again the source of the sort of sneaker team up that you would never see at retail. This time around he’s lifted the aesthetics of couple streetwear juggernauts, that would be Bape and Ice Cream, for this Air Jordan 3 creation. The sneakers feature a particularly impressive replacement of the Nike Air logo on the back side with a cleverly fitted Bathing Ape logo. Air Jordan 4Lab1 Enters the Elements Series

It looks like the next sneaker to show up from the Elements Series of Air Jordans that has certain silhouettes borrowing heavily from others is the Air Jordan 4Lab1. As you can see, the model pulls the side netting from the Air Jordan 4 and dips the Air Jordan 1 with that detail. Kind of curious here is the use of icy soles on bottom, but we’re assuming those were just tossed in for good measure and not meant as a real reference to the Jordan 4.

27 Air Jordans “Chicago” Colorway

Spotted at the Nike World Basketball Festival in Chicago last month with this jaw-dropping display of Air Jordans from 1 through 2012. It makes complete sense that Jordan Brand selected this base of White and Red, because Chicago is, after all, Michael Jordan’s “home” city. You may have seen similar iterations of the Air Jordan Legacy in this pristine white/red composition, and if you happened to stop by the Nike WBF in the Chi, you probably caught these in the Jordan Brand experience space. Air Jordan Future – Burgundy – Metallic Gold

There have been a few Jordan Future pairs popping up that weren’t involved with that 16-colorway image earlier in the summer that spoiled a good lot of what’s coming for the model. This time around the Jordan 11 tribute again goes the mesh route and features a burgundy coloring for the upper (We assume they’ve got the reflective touch too but it’s a bit difficult to spot here).

Air Jordan 1 ’99 “Last Shot”

We have a feeling that a lot more folks will appreciate the Air Jordan 14 after this year, as the model is currently making quite a bit of noise with that upcoming “Ferrari” pair. Whether or not that appreciation will trickle down to hybrid styles like the Air Jordan 1 ’99 here remains to be seen, but if any pair could pique interests than the OG “Last Shot” one here would be it.

Jordan Meets Federer: Presenting The NikeCourt Zoom Vapor AJ3

Tennis has been one of the most impactful providers of sport culture to Nike, with earlier releases from the 80s living as legends of the brand’s footwear catalog. With that rich history in support, the brand has launched NikeCourt – a new category inspired by Nike Tennis DNA that implements contemporary design to classic apparel and footwear pieces. The debut collection of NikeCourt continues with this incredible unification of greatness from two distinct courts, resulting in the limited edition NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Tour AJ3.

The sneaker combines the DNA of the Zoom Vapor Tour 9.5 with the iconic elements of the Air Jordan III, as seen by the elephant print on the toe and heel, the Jumpman tongue, and the Nike Air on the heel. The sneaker is still very much the Vapor Tour 9.5, with the Dynamic Fit and Zoom Air allowing this rebuilt sneaker to be fully wearable on the court. In fact, if you tune into Federer’s first match of the U.S. Open tonight, you’ll see the shoes on his feet.

Air Jordan 3 “Liquid Gold”

Can you imagine if the “Liquid Metal” theme were to extend to the Air Jordan realm? We’ve had a fleeting taste of what such a shoe would look like thanks to Usher and his gold Jordan 3s, but we’ve never seen anything close to a retail release. Again showing us what’s possible is Mache Customs, who crafted this pair for a customer that features the shiny look up top – although he skipped out on the reflective part of the equation.

Air Jordan 4 “Columbia”

2015 will be a hallmark year for Jordan Brand thanks to the new Remastered line of Retro releases. Quick refresher: “Remastered” is a coined term for a new style of Air Jordan manufacturing that promises better overall quality in materials and shape as well as accurate depiction of details such as the Jumpman logo and so forth. The Air Jordan IV “Columbia”, a Retro+ colorway from 1999, is one of the confirmed 2015 Jordan Releases, and today we get another few snaps of the shoes before we bring you a detailed preview in the coming weeks. One thing to note: the “Remastered” Retros will cost a pretty penny, with retail prices above $200 being confirmed in early reports. Air Jordan 6 “First Championship” Will Not Release

Does this Air Jordan 6 look familiar? The pair has quite a bit of overlap with the Tim Howard Air Jordan 6, although this pair lacks the reflective 3M upper of that one. This time around there’s a clean white leather treatment on the top, and the shoe in question is apparently intended as a celebration of MJ’s first championship in these sneakers.
But this Air Jordan 6 “First Championship” – a new colorway that gathered in a “USA” look with the red, white, and blue colorway. The response was massive and it was clear that the public would have welcomed a release with open arms, but it looks like that won’t be the case because Jordan Brand confirmed today that the shoes are a “special project” that will not hit stores.

Air Jordan Future “Black Ice” + “Sport Blue”

Surprise! While Nike has these two Air Jordan Future pairs slated for an August 27th release date, you can head over to Footaction today and grab them a bit early. The Jordan Future has been a fairly unpredictable sneaker in terms of what materials will show up on the upper, as it has switched between the original woven aesthetic and this 3M-wielding mesh variety throughout the latter half of summer.

Air Jordan Future Flight Remix

The Air Jordan Future Flight Remix has so far been very concerned with looking to parallel retro styles that are on the shelves for colorway inspiration. When it first showed up, the shoe had a black and yellow mixture not unlike the “Thunder” found on the Jordan 14. And this time around, it’s running with the sport blue theme and pairing that look with some black and cool grey.

Air Jordan XX3 White/Gold

The Air Jordan XX3 definitely has a higher aggregate secondary market value than any other new Air Jordan design from the past decade. That’s mostly due to pairs like the “Titanium” and“Finale”, but it’s also helped out by all the sample and PE versions floating around out there. Earning plenty of attention is this white/gold version of the shoes, which is allegedly the only pair in existent aside from a size 13 for MJ himself.

Air Jordan 3 “Sport Blue” Release Info

Jordan Brand flips the classic “True Blue” into this black-based “Sport Blue” variety that can be described as nothing else but the classic Black/Cement with the Sport Blue touch. This Saturday will be the official launch of this highly-coveted sneaker, which is likely to satisfy Air Jordan III fanatics around the globe. Several Jordan Brand retailers will carry this model in full family sizes, but if you’re looking to purchase directly from Nikestore, these will be available at 8 AM – just keep an eye out for the purchase link on their Twitter.

Air Jordan 3 “Drake vs. Lil’ Wayne”

The string of sick Air Jordan PEs for Drizzy Drake continues as he gives his Instagram followers a first look at a special Air Jordan 3 Retro designed after Drake vs. Lil’ Wayne. The two hip-hop megastars (and close pals) are currently touring together in an unprecedented duet style that not only has the two artists performing alongside one another, but perhaps against each other in rap-battle form. The all-black leather Jordans adds some minute yet powerful details like the OVO and Street Fighter type-font logos on the insoles, with red and yellow Jumpman logos providing some competitive contrast on the exterior. A release? Probably unlikely, but check out the extra shots below and let us know if this is the best of Drake’s PE Jordans.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Nouveau “Midnight Navy”

Did you miss out on the Air Jordan 1 “Family Forever” – that Father’s Day release that was personally designed by MJ’s three kids to mimic the premium denim their dad likes to rock? Just incase you did, this Air Jordan 1 Mid Nouveau is a pretty sweet consolation prize, as it still features that premium aesthetic with added perforations in a matching midnight navy while an icy outsole contrasts the monochromatic upper. Once hidden in the archives for whatever reason, it’s nice to see the Air Jordan 1 Mid get some shine as of late.

The Air Jordan Shine will debut this Saturday, July 26th, 2014. The shoe has made news for its price point more so than its design – and at $400 it will be the single most expensive sneaker release in Jumpman history. But that doesn’t mean that the luxurious all leather upper with unique woven side panels won’t compete with other JB releases this weekend for a place in your collection. With two monochromatic looks in an eye-catching red or simple black, the silhouette went from a rumored Barneys exclusive to an eventual distribution that will have them at boutiques and big box stores. Air Jordan Future Premium “Metallic Silver”

The Air Jordan Future PRM “Metallic Silver” arrives at retailers tomorrow, July 26th, 2014. This release sees Jordan Brand bring back the premium style for the freshly minted Air Jordan 11-inspired lifestyle sneaker, one that gets subtle 3M detailing mixed into the metallic silver woven upper. They’ve also got a different approach to the color blocking, one that skips out on the monochromatic look for a black lining and tongue to contrast the icy outsole. Original Jordan Spiz’ike To Re-release This Summer

The year in Jordan hybrids just got deeper – it appears that the Jordan Spiz’ike is set to make a return in its first-ever colorway from 2006, shown here. So far the only concrete release date attached is an August 9th one for Europe, but that date would certainly make sense for the states as well given that the similar Jordan 6 “History of Jordan” will be debuting on that same day. Will we see folks revisiting the well on this OG Spizike pair with a certain air of nostalgia, or are hybrids still too stuck in the shadow of retros to drum up any excitement? Air Jordan 12 Kevin Martin “Kings”

When was the last time you saw an Air Jordan player exclusive put the full name of the connected player onto the shoe? Usually we’ll see nicknames or just last names placed there, but that’s not the case for this Kevin Martin Air Jordan 12 creation from his Sacramento Kings days. We’re assuming that’s the result of the overall brevity of Martin’s full government and his lack of a real nickname other than “K-Mart”, which you know Jordan Brand isn’t going to slap onto a shoe.

Chris Paul’s Air Jordan 5 “CP3″

It’s a safe bet at this point that there isn’t a retail release coming anytime soon for the Air Jordan 5 “CP3″. They were rumored to being showing up for Holiday 2013, but have since sort of faded into the ether without much explanation as to why. Reminding us of how exciting such a release would be is this new photo set, which does a better job than previous ones showing off that sort of linear texture across the upper. Air Jordan 29 Release Date

The Air Jordan 29 is headed to retailers beginning this September 3rd in the Black/Red/Elephant Colorway and later on September 13th in the Team Orange version. The shoe, billed as being “Tailored for Flight”, features a woven material on the upper allowing for the sneaker to be seamless in construction with the added benefit of nearly an endless array of potential prints and patterns, all while resting on the Jordan Flight Plate, and each pair will retail for $225.

Air Jordan Future “White Sole”

It always feels a little bit unsettling to see an Air Jordan 11 with a sole on bottom that isn’t of the typical icy persuasion. The same already holds true for the new Jordan Future, a shoe that is shown here with a more solid kit on bottom. Mind you there are pieces that do the translucent thing, but those are sort of isolated within the otherwise clean white surface. Air Jordan Future Flight Remix Black/Vibrant/Yellow

Jordan Brand has long since mastered the art of taking inspiration from their legendary signature line and incorporating elements to bring us a familiar, yet new look via a hybrid design. The latest is the Air Jordan Future Flight Remix, which makes the Air Jordan 5inspiration perhaps the most obvious thanks to a side ventilation unit. The initial colorway will channel the Thunder look previously seen on the Air Jordan 14 thanks to a black base and vibrant yellow accents arriving on the midsole, speckled laces and stitching. Air Jordan 15 “White/Black”

Did you know that there was a string of Air Jordan XV pairs released exclusively at Eastbay back in 2000? Apparently the set was originally intended for NCAA and NBA players, but eventually found its way to that massive footwear retailer. Shown here is a white/black pair from the set, which gets even more confusing in terms of origin with that Nike Employee Store stamp that shoes up on the tag.

Air Jordan 14 GS “Hyper Pink”

The Air Jordan 14 has two new colorways coming out in the next ten days. Not all Air Jordansare created equal though – the second of them will only be available in smaller sizes. The idea of pink as a girly color is carried on by the shrink and pink pair, which will start at $120 for the youth sizes and run all the way down to $55 for the crib ones.

Air Jordan 1 Low Black/Red Elephant Print

Ever since last year’s release of the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” came and went, those who missed out have been on the lookout for the best possible alternative to that OG AJ1 style. Coming in as a pretty good contender is this Air Jordan 1 Low, which stays close to the classic “Bred” blocking save for the black bottoms. They also deviate in their appropriation of the elephant print from the Air Jordan 3.

Air Jordan 8 – Signed Michael Finley “Spurs” PE

It’s no secret that the Spurs aren’t the most exciting of sneaker squads in the NBA. They’ve proven their championship pedigree plenty of times, but their sneakers in the modern era haven’t really been the source of too much buzz. Perhaps Kawhi Leonard, Jordan Brand athlete that he is, can remedy that though. Giving him some pointers as far as possible colorways for Spurs Air Jordans is this pair from the collection of Michael Finley.Check out the images for this autographed Air Jordan 8 that was created for the man called Fin.

              

Air Jordan 1 Retro ’99 “Vibrant Yellow”

The Air Jordan 1 Retro 99 is set to release on July 9th, 2014. When the sneaker first shows up, this vibrant yellow version will be one of the two colorways available. Like so many other Air Jordan 1 hybrids in the past year, they’re not entirely committed to copying the Jordan 14 “Thunder” pair that’s obviously being referenced.

Air Jordan 14 Retro “Ferrari”

Could the red suede Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” end up as the most celebrated colorway of that sneaker? It’s got history standing in its way: OG devotees of the Air Jordan line will likely never put them higher on a favorites list than the likes of the moment-making Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot”. With that being said, the younger generation seems particularly drawn to these sort of dripping red looks, so they’ll definitely have their supporters. Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe”

The Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe” retro is one that we’ve known about since December of last year, when a horde of preview photos gave us the first glimpse at which Jordan retros would show up in the latter part of 2014. Those shoes continue to get closer in terms of release dates, and so more photos showing them off are in turn available. The amount of original colorways that will be available during this shoe’s 2014 presence seems pretty slim, so you’d be advised to keep an eye on the “Black Toes” if that’s your thing. SOLEFLY X AIR JORDAN III RETRO

Outside of PEs and other special editions created for players and celebrities, it’s pretty rare to see Jordan Brand do collaborations with outside partners. Over the years, we’ve seen a handful of such cases; the much-coveted UNDFTD Air Jordan IVs, Dave White’s paint splattered Air Jordan 1 creations, and even the denim-centric Levi’s 23/501 pack from 2008 to name a few. These instances have been few and far between, but there’s now another pair on the horizon that will soon join that exclusive company.

Miami shop, Solefly, has actually been one of the chosen few to already go down this road. We saw them team up with Jordan Brand back in 2012 to celebrate their two year anniversary with a special Miami Hurricanes-inspired Spiz’ike, complete with Solefly branding on the pull tabs. For their follow-up, the stakes have been raised significantly, this time taking on the challenge of coloring up one of the most beloved models in the Air Jordan lineage.


Solefly’s Air Jordan III is a careful blend of old and new. At a quick glance, the shoe follows the same tried and true blocking formula of the iconic OG editions, but a closer look reveals some vibrant accent colors that give the shoe a fresh new spin that’s full of Miami flavor. Inspired by the Florida lottery, which appropriately launched in 1988, the classic AJ3 blueprint gets made over with bright hits of red and yellow, a dark green midsole, and white reflective 3M panels for some added pop.

The shoe has already built considerable buzz thanks to the teaser photos and celebrity sightings, and the Jordan-hungry masses have been eagerly awaiting news on a release. Unfortunately for the vast majority out there, the super-limited run will be distributed to Solefly friends and family in celebration of the shop’s 3rd anniversary, and we’ll still have to wait to see if any are made available to the public. Air Jordan 4 “OVO”

First, an Air Jordan 6. Now, an Air Jordan 4? Nothing about a release regarding any “OVO” Air Jordan Retro has been confirmed, especially with Jordan Brand brass confirming that the Drake partnership was more for marketing rather than for product collaborating, But still, we’re seeing the OVO logo pop up on some Black/Gold Air Jordans, and this first look at an Air Jordan IV has us a bit apprehensive. While the colorway of he sneaker is enticing, the logo placement is a bit strange. Why not the tongue, or the heel where the Mars logo used to be? Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Gym Red”

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Gym Red” will release on Nike.com on Saturday, June 28th. This continues a wave of new colorways of the AJ1 in the coveted “Nike Air” form, only this one is near the heart of the Bulls heritage with the simple Red and White colorway. A clean mix of flat leather and suede materials on the upper provides a nice contrast on the tonal upper as well. A retail price of $140, the standard for the AJ1 Retro High OG, has been set so stay tuned for a release roughly two weeks from now and let us know if these are a must-have for you.

Air Jordan V.2 Low “Concord”

The Air Jordan V.2 Low sees a classic Air Jordan 11 colorway this summer.

Above are photos of the recently released “Concord” Air Jordan V.2 Lows. As you can see, this V.2 Low features a familiar colorway with white occupying the toe, mid-panel, tongue, laces, and outsole. Hits ofblack suede rest on the toecap, eyestay, lining, and heel counter. Touches of purple complete the “Concord” theme by taking up the Nike Swoosh and Jordan branding.

Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86 “Kumquat”

It will be interesting to see how long pairs like the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86 will survive. Jordan Brand could either let these hybrid styles stick around for the rest of this year, or keep them around as a much more permanent part of their retro offerings. The latter certainly makes sense as a method of helping more and more folks get access to the flavor of a retro release that might not be so easy to acquire. Air Jordan 10 “Chicago

So far, the Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” is the only remastered Jordan for 2015 that features an original colorway. The pair is still considered a pretty sacred one, as they’ve only seen the retro light once before. This upcoming version will differentiate itself from that 2012 edition both by means of the remastered shape and the “45″ stitching that shows up around the collar, the latter being borrowed from MJ’s PE version of the shoe. Air Jordan 4 “Teal”

The Air Jordan 4 will be heavily involved with the remastered 2015 Air Jordan retro collection, and it won’t all be old colorways. Showing off what to expect on the new end of things is this teal pair, which sports a leather build on the upper. Mind you the leather here doesn’t seem to have the same tumbled texture as other Air Jordan IV pairs that have been confirmed for next year like the “Oreo” and “Columbia”. Air Jordan Brazil

The Air Jordan “Brazil” pack is one of a handful of high profile sneaker releases that went missing from Nike’s official calendars. It looks like they might be back on though, and showing up a little bit early. The new release date for the Air Jordan 6 “Brazil”, and the accompanying Jordan CP3.VII, is this Thursday, June 12. Air Jordan 2 “Varsity Red”

The Air Jordan 2 will finally get back to original form tomorrow with the release of this white/black/varsity red pair. So far, the Air Jordan II styles to show up in 2014 haven’t been too terribly hard to acquire – perhaps in part due to the new nature of the colorways attached. That theory will be measured by the speed at which these fly off shelves.

Air Jordan 1 Retro “Family Forever”

Just in time for Father’s Day the Jordan collective is ready to drop the Air Jordan 1 “Family Forever”. The kicks pay homage to Michael Jordan’s family and in particular his his family. They feature a denim upper atop a white midsole. The sole contrasts the denim coming in dark powder. The top three eyelets feature blue, red, and yellow which seems to point at his three children. Also present on the back of the tongue tab is a family oriented adage with corresponding years to his children’s births. The kicks are set to release on June 14th with a price point of $120.

Air Jordan 1 x Mache Customs x Bacardi “Mango”

This Air Jordan 1 is clearly a custom, who else thinks Mache is honestly the best of the best. There are contenders but when it comes down to it he is the king of Jordan customs. Jordan Brand should hire this man as a design specialist or something, look at how beautiful these are.. and for Bacardi, how is he not hired yet. It was a clean white base that was the scape for this beauty, I can’t even begin to describe the the gradients and designs so just look at it!
